  • Profile

Brian has been engaged as a professional violinist for over 45 years. During the span of 16 years in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Brian performed as a soloist at hundreds of wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, private and corporate events at the finest, upscale resorts and hotels on St. John, St. Thomas and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He now resides full time in Rhinebeck, NY, in the beautiful Hudson Valley region.

For wedding ceremonies, as an alternative to a solo performance, Brian collaborates with one of the region’s premier classical guitarists. Special requests are always welcome.

With a sizable and diverse repertoire, including Brazilian jazz, classical, jazz standards, originals, popular, and other genres, this blend is a perfect addition to cocktail hours, private parties and corporate events.

As a forward written on Brian’s most recent all-Brazilian recording, Brazilliant, two time Grammy nominated violinist, Jim VanCleve, wrote “The material offered here is at once challenging and beautiful, romantic and rambunctious, emotionally charged while technically dazzling. This is all true testament to Brian’s skills…to be able to navigate the complex artistic waters and deliver this material in a technically precise way, yet still communicate the emotion and heart of each song, speaks to Brian’s intense devotion to his craft, but more importantly, his depth as a human being.”

You can find his online video performance by googling ‘Brian Silber One Man Strings’, and listen to numerous musical samples from four available cds on his website address, www.BrianSilberMusic.com. He can also be reached by phone anytime at 340-690-2400. For all occasions, Brian offers a pitch perfect, elegant and highly professional touch of class to your cherished celebration.
